Dear Friends,
Introducing Small Church: Sundays at Sundown
Gathering – it is what the church does.
So how do we gather in the midst of a global pandemic when social distancing is necessary?
In small, safe ways.
This past month we have started some small, safe ways to come together for fellowship and prayer. These gatherings filled up quickly, with many asking if there would be more to follow.
That is why I am excited to announce that we will continue and expand our Small Church gatherings in September. Beginning Sunday, September 13, we will gather at 6:00 pm. This will be a time for a quiet evening service of prayer, music, and reflection – a meaningful way to begin the week.
Participation for these events will be expanded to 50 people. An email will go out on Monday with all the dates, details, and sign-up options. You can also call Danielle Moody at (248) 541-4100 x1315 if you need help reserving your spot.
Remember: in-person gatherings will only be possible if everyone commits to the safety and social distancing guidelines that will be clearly laid out. Together we keep each other safe.
If this feels right for you, know that we would love to see you. If this is not the right way for you to connect right now, please know we understand, and we look forward to “seeing” you for online church and other virtual ways to stay connected.
However we gather, it is always a blessing to be connected to God and one another.
Gathering – it is what the church does!
Welcoming Reverend Kevin Smalls
Grace and Peace,
