Come join us after church for five Sundays (May 28-June 25) at the Royal Oak Taphouse from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. for lunch discussions, led by Joyce Hollingsworth, using Richard Rohr’s critically acclaimed book “Falling Upward–A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life”. We will learn about the essential tasks Rohr outlines for the two different halves of life and explore how all of us who’ve fallen, failed, or “gone down” in some aspect of our life are the only ones who truly understand “up”. We will discuss how our mistakes can be the foundation for our ongoing spiritual growth and how our losses can, from a spiritual perspective, be experienced as a gain. Join us for a shared meal, engaging fellowship and thoughtful discussion. Click here to sign up and get further details.
